Proca theory for a real massive vector boson is not gauge-invariant ;
is it renormalizable ?

I don't know what you mean. The nice thing is that a massive vector
boson can be treated as a U(1) gauge boson. It doesn't work for
non-abelian gauge theories, but for abelian it does:
