Green lasers at sky shows usually attract some attention. However, I
witnessed a simple trick with one that myself and the audience (physics) had
a laugh at. The demonstrator was talking briefly about lasers and maybe even
spectra, when suddenly the green laser light broke into many segments
scattered all over the ceiling. Of course, he had put a slide grating in
front of the light. Does anyone have other such tricks with lasers that
require little preparation?
