We are in the Valley of the Blind of G. H Wells ' fame with a lid of
rock over our heads, and lid is called Hutton, Lyell, Darwin, Agassiz
' crude theories which although incoherent with new findings of the
True Geology particularly, continue to be taught & foraged forcefully
in young men throats.

A defintive case & demonstration of Mankind ' s degeneracy and
intellectual devolution indeed.

H.G Wells of course and the story of Bogota is a revelation to us,
since the Elders of the Valley of the Blind, equivalent to the Doktors
of the Law of Oxford, Caltech, the ANU and other institutions of
higher brainwashing, saw nothing better to normalise his vision of the
world than to Blind him ... and remove those protuberances detrimental
to his brain & mental process. Indeed Bogota kept on seeing clouds,
stars, mountain, cliffs ... and probably the proofs of Planetary
Expansion seen here with its local case of Earth Expansion

In the past Heretics were burned at the stake, but the same who did
order so are still present & in force indeed... as blind as ever
too !

It's the "We are a community of scientists", ... or just "we are a
community", ..or even just - "No man is an island", syndrome. Lies
are a necessary part of every day-to-day intercourse. But it's best
if it doesn't carry over into science, ...and politics, because these
are invested with being impartially 'good' and for the general
benefit. But then, these, ..and I suppose a lot of things in life,
are not of themselves, ..but of the people who do them. It's nice
when you get a good politician, and good scientists, but don't bet on
it. It's not the name of the game. It's the community that is, ..and
its interest is not the interest of individuals. There is a tension
there that is a tremendously fertile area for lies and deceit for
whoever cares to exploit them.

We had a Foreign Minister here a while back, a very open and frank guy
incidentally, who said that politics is the business of lies (he got
sacked incidentally for operating his vested interest too openly.
Actually to be fair he resigned before it could be done for him.. Our
Prime minister then about the same time called it (politics), "The art
of the possible". (The 'Diplomatic' Service - "I'm not telling lies,
I'm just being diplomatic.") They put a positive spin on it. Without
the means of 'lies' you wouldn't be able to achieve the end in
question. And we all know the public enjoy, or at least don't mind,
being lied to (how many dead this month in Iraq?). As do lovers
("Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies") (Jeez, ..your fuckin'
breath stinks//! .... er, ..darlin') (Now where's my dinner?).. We
go to the theatre/ cinema/ elsewhere anywhere and don't mind a
diversion from the truth. In fact you could say we have an innate
aversion to truth. There's a difficult, and often brutal elastic in
that mentioned tension. And one that can be exploited. Even when
it's nice it's regarded suspiciously as oily. There is little 'nice'
in it - the real world, ..where lions gnaw on Christians right there
in full view, and there is enjoyment in it for others in witnessing
them getting what they say is their 'comeuppance'. There is a
programme right now showing on telly called 'The funniest videos', or
similar, and they're almost invariably about people - particularly
children, falling over themselves, .. doing the most horrendous damage
to themselves, like falling into brick walls or into rivers - and
people laugh as if it's not real. Why is that? Then there's prison
camps and other institutions for the elderly and people not quite
right in the head, ..and the horrific things that people do unto
defenceless others in the name of I'm not sure what, ..but it's
certainly not in the name of anything nice or positive.

It's just the human condition. "There but for the grace of God go I"
says someone I know when describing his visits (which he does
frequently in trying to understand this condition) to Hitler's death
camps in Poland. No, ..he doesn't mean as a victim, but as one of the
Kapos that many had to be, or chose to be, to avoid their own
extermination. It could have been him. That's the thought that
haunts him - that he is capable of doing to others to preserve his own
self interest. Why? Because it's easier to go with the flow, than
resist. It's the element of personal protection (selfishness) within
the group. Clandestine. Vicarious. "There is nothing in it for
me" (to fight). And so those for whom there is something in it for
them, get away with it. ( "If the scientific community will not
unfrock the charlatans amongst them, then who will?")(Michael Crichton
on consensus science <http://www.s8int.com/crichton.html> )

Cup of tea and a lie down.. I think.

Well; going with the flow, hey ?

The facts speak for themselves, it's common sense, just do like the
others, so many people cannot be wrong, they have years of study
behind, they know what they're talking about & are considered as
authority in their field etc

You know, if you didn't respond to him, most of use would never even be

Sounds to me, here, as if you're expousing precisely the same
sentiment as Sir J.P. Turcaud.
