Hi,
I'm using a Novatel RTK-capable receiver in an automotive application.
In challenging environments the receiver sometimes suffers from
position jumps when in RT-2 (fixed integer) mode. Typically, the
position jumps about 1m to the side and returns to the correct track
after a about one second. Novatel offers now IMU support with tight
integration, called SPAN. Theoretically, if the RTK algorithm uses
IMU data to exclude solutions that make no sense, errors as
described above should decrease dramatically. Has anyone
experiences with this technology and can confirm or deny my
guess?

Thanks in advance,

Thomas
