that may help. Opinions and theory can be truthful by astuteness and
experience and observation over many years.

Sorry, but the medical profession and I believe pharmaceuticals do not
know
the cause of crohns and some get angry with me if I tell this to them. I
think it jeopardizes their career to accept such a theory. after all, who
is
going to deny anti-depressants (they are the biggest sellers of meds, I
believe). What alternative would there be. Talk therapy which is too
time consuming, as one doctor said. They want a medical cause for
crohns
and there is not any. How can they say to a patient, your friend or
relative is making you sick. They would be thought insane, as I am at
times. Difficult and weird illness, Dr. Crohns and colleagues could not
find the cause but concluded it was of environmental origin. No one can
understand the scope of the problem or the nature ensuring our lives will
be
affected for many years and years to come. But I will persist, as
crohns
is a very debilitating disease and early death for many.

research indicates problems associated with the immune system's reaction

bacteria and genetic predisposition. At the same time, there are articles
which may associate CD with the environment, although the environment
factors not being not specific.

By the way, CD usually appears between the ages of 15 to 45.

in all the world, and I stand by my assertion that crohns disease and UC

caused by stimulants, anti-depressants being the more common because of

heavy use.

I don't say this recklessly, I know for certain though I am neither
physician or medical person. It does not have a medical cause and
anyone
that has crohns can prove it to their self if they take the time.
Most times, if the crohnie is thinking of that person on the stimulant,
he/she will feel the pain or symptom. A very dear psychiatrist whom I was
taking someone living with me to, could not believe this as the cause, but
always asked about it. Said a fellow who came to him wanted to know why
he
felt a pain every time he thought of this particular person. Reasonable
question for the Doc. Doctor didn't know, and I couldn't think fast
enough
and had the answer ready for the next visit. Unfortunately, the Doctor
did
not live until the next visit.
Male nurse at the nursing home was having pain in his feet, standing and
walking, asked me why (I always talked so much) I told him this particular
woman on anti-depressants is sitting in front of his lobby desk, watching
him constantly. Came in the following week, said the doctor diagnosed
crohns disease. Instead of saying something to the administrator, he
quit.
Heard he was suing the home but really has no case as the FDA has not made
the anti-depressants banned drugs.
The proof it etc.etc. etc. I take this seriously, as I worry for my and
everyone's future generations that will have no idea of the actual cause.

They will still be saying cow's milk, bacteria. and a few new nonsense
causes like genetics.

(Usually more than one person can be using
anti-depressants in a family, thus several people in the family
suffering.)
Age is no factor neither. Babies, small children with Inflammatory Bowel
Disease, young adults, college students (sometimes smoking marijuana in
groups) adults and old, old, oldsters. I could go on and on, but it
does
no good, I need help,

someone that is strong in morals and weak in animal
strength to cope with the pharmaceuticals and physicians.
This will affect almost all in time in one way or another. It is too
difficult to accept because of the ramifications it will produce.

I would venture to say new illnesses would drop by a large percentage if
anti-depressants were banned, and marijuana, another common love of many.
Fibro-myalgia, etc. What I have observed is that can be an offshoot of
crohns. and children could be children without a tage after their name.
Then the truly disturbed could seek counseling.
