I gave you a new "test" of your math.
Test, no, sorry. Your turn.
Friction only makes the gun and ball move less far apart and requires
MORE energy to overcome.
So you ignore inertial force and relative mass all the time huh?

friction of the tube in my experimental device..
Let me ask you to think about this if you really know
your math.
Take a 20 gram magnetic material and place it in a tube
that has a mass of 50 grams and a length of 10 ft
and it would also have to have a friction inside,
(pick a friction that only slows the mass inside it
so it won't reach 4 ft of free motion after
a pulse from the magnet)
Place the magnetic material in the center of that tube.
Now connect the magnetic ring to the outside and
place it about 2 inches from the center and pulse the magnet
on only once so it moves the tube and magnetic material inside
fast enough to move past the center but not fast enough to
reach the end of the tube itself. (the friction will stop
that if strong enough such as air piston type tubes would do.)
Do you think that tube and magnetic ring outside will not
gain inertia and be moving inertially now?
No it won't.
What friction in space stopped it then?
the smaller mass inside surely can not stop a larger mass
with nothing for it to hold against.
I think you are just clueless about space travel in general.
Bye Greg.

Bye Greg.
You are right about one thing. One of us is clueless. You're just wrong
about who it is.
Again, my offer stands, demonstrate your engine in freefall and convince
outside observers and I will pay you $1000.
You pick the time frame. At the end either you win and are $1000 richer, or
you lose and you're $1000 poorer.
I am quite serious about this. Hence offering a reasonable bet.

Stopped what mass from moving? Again you switch between asking nonsensical
questions and putting words in my mouth.
It's like asking, "What does that color sound like to you?"
I'm really trying to be polite, mostly because I find your ignorance
amusing, but you really are an idiot.
Do you even know what conversation of energy and momentum mean?
Hell, do you even know what momentum or energy are?
And one final question, do you really enjoy continuing to make an idiot of
yourself in front of others?
Again, quite seriously, consider the fact that NO ONE in the space business
has done what you are suggesting. It makes absolutely no sense.

The mass of the tube that moved from the counter motion
of the smaller mass inside being pulled by the magnet.
You don't even read the stuff do you?
Quote: I'm really trying to be polite, mostly because I find your ignorance

Actually I have been trying to be polite and show you where you
are wrong, but apparently you just refuse to even think about such occuring
at all because you know you are right about everything without even
knowing abotu what occurs in the stated facts.
So, the idiot factor is falling upon you even though you must be too
"smart" to understand you are proving yourself an idiot.
I tried to give you a clue..
You refused to even try and think about it.
Have a Nice Day.

Go ahead and do the math if you want.

You are claiming reactionless drive. That is quite simply outrageous. I

Try rephrasing it.

Let's see, I have the laws of physics and math (which I've shown) to back me
up.
You have handwaving. You've shown nothing other than a clear
misunderstanding of physics.
Show me your math. Hell if your math proves me wrong I'll pay $100 right
now, forget requiring you to build a working prototype.
There's your challenge. Right there. Put up or shut up.
Hell, I'll even sweeten the deal. If your math shows you're right and I'm
wrong, you don't even have to pay me $100. Or even a $1.
All you have to do is post to the sci.space.shuttle group with the subject:
"Spaceman is an idiot"
What a deal. You can't lose money on this and if you're right, you make
money.
We can each pick 3 other posters to judge, their results are final.

I am not claiming "reactionless" drive,
I am claiming internal reaction drive.
I hope you don't waste time on me, you clearly
do not understand the device at all when you say it
is "reactionless".

You think the smaller mass will stop the larger masses motion?
As in,
When the two masses move (the smaller vs bigger) you are
saying the smaller mass will stop the larger mass from still moving
after the reaction occurs. (inertial mottion of the larger mass)
That is where you are at fault.

So you also think that a larger mass that has inertial
motion could be stopped by a smaller mass with
the same motion speed?

PLONK
Poor guy , thinks I asked for money myself.
Guess he does not know what "scam" means at all.
The complete idea was posted without any money request
to do such, it was posted for people to actually try
if they had the materials.
Sadly, not one person has a brain enough to try it and then
come back here and say, wow. it does work.
That is cool.
Then again.
What else did I expect from a bunch of people
that did not even understand how it worked to begin
with.
:)
