First School and Workshop on Image Sciences

Computer Science Department, Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences,
University of Buenos Aires
It is a pleasure for us to invite you to the First School and Workshop
on Image Sciences, ECImag2008, that will take place along with the
School of Informatic Sciences, ECI 2008, (http://www.dc.uba.ar/eci) at
the Computer Science Department, Faculty of Exact and Natural
Sciences, from July 28 to August 2, 2008, http://www.dc.uba.ar/events/ecimag.
The ECImag2008 is an opportunity for the people related to image
processing and analysis to make contact with the last developments in
the area and to explore collaboration possibilities among different
groups of the Argentine Republic and foreign countries.
During this school, intensive courses on present research subjects
will be dictated. It will also be carried out a Workshop, in which
there will be conferences given by recognized specialists in the field
and there will be poster presentations by Ph.D. students.
This event will take place within the framework of the RAViCC project
"Argentine Vision and Computacional Cognition Network", which is part
of the "Raíces" program, of the Direction of International Relations
of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation and
is also sponsored by the Xerox Research Centre Europe.
