A postdoctoral research associate position is available in my group
starting Fall 2008 to work in the area of interfacial processes in
solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) cathodes, and direct oxidation of
hydrocarbons in SOFCs. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in
Materials Science and Engineering/Solid State Chemistry/Chemical
Engineering with relevant experience in the processing, fabrication
and testing of SOFCs. Some modeling experience using COMSOL/FEMLAB or
other equivalent FEM multiphysics packages is also desirable. Salary
is commensurate with accomplishments and experience. For immediate
consideration write to me with a CV and the names of three references.
