If i want to start a business, how much money do banks loan?

Perhaps you wanted to ask about venture capitalists. There the answer is
not quite enough on security of the whole business.

"Wise" commentary aside there are some issues of security and risk and the
ability of actually measure them. To say it is not an exact science is
to be overly polite.

You could always appeal to charity! Neither banks nor venture capitalist
are organized charities. Sometime it is even hard to tell if they are
organized.

So if banks do not give people huge loans for starting a business, how
do people get the money to start a business?

The loan may be called a mortgage. Or there may be a rich uncle somewhere
or perhaps just three well to do ones. The formal name is private family
investment.
