Watched an hour long program entitled "The Sun" last night. One of the
statements made was that the Sun presently consists of 90% Hydrogen. I find
that hard to believe in view of the fact that the composition of the
Universe right after the BB was 75% Hydrogen and 20% Helium (5% other). I
would think that that is the absolute maximum amount the Sun could contain.
In reality, it should be much less, since the Sun has been busy converting
Hydrogen into Helium for about the past 6B years or so.

Why not a liquid/gas core of thorium?
