Dear Newsgroup:
There are individuals in variety of newsgroups posting articles under
unknown names.
These are individuals like: gam23, don, James, YAM, etc.
I believe general public should completely ignore their postings.
Every one posting here should have their first and last name at least
once written, as well as from what institution or city or state they
are sending their letters.
Those unnamed individuals might be directed by one person (s) to write
on behalf of them in variety of situations for public control of the
media in broad sense.
They might be also directed to ridicule or insult the writers here.
This is a FIRST STEP, to ignore these unknown persons for better
atmosphere of the newsgroup and honest scientific debate.
From now on I will not open the postings of those without proper names
and certainly will not respond to them.
I hope you do the same, until they properly identify themselves in
complete family name.

Posting any real information could pose a security risk. Could be the
first step in having your identity stolen, so by all means, post away. |

What I say, is a full name (at least once), possibly what city or
institution you are from, when you register in the newsgroup.
Not names like m6j ,john, nev, etc.

How will you know that the posting does not contain the full name
of the poster if you do not open the post before?

Dr.M.Basti
Apparently Basti is your last name and Dr.M. is your first name.
However, I am unsure how to pronounce it, esp. as it contains
two periods, which is quite unusual in all languages I know.
Actually, I find that knowing your full name does not make the
contents of your posting any more appreciable.
Yours,
hagman
alias Juliett Hagman, editor in chief of SWJPAM
or is it Herbert Agmanevich, research assistant at vladivostok
university?
(Can you verify such a full name?
Would it put any more weight no my statements if these were my real
names?) |

It is clear now , since the professor wrote me the letter and he was
so paranoid and shaking.
This means, I must have some public influence.

| Apparently Basti is your last name and Dr.M. is your first name.
| However, I am unsure how to pronounce it, esp. as it contains
| two periods, which is quite unusual in all languages I know.
It's pronounced "dram".
Dr(A)M (rhymes with lamb with a silent 'b'), as in a dram of whisky.
He's clearly drunk and wants everyone to appreciate his single equation
that is the answer to life, the Universe and everything... It solves to 42.

He was trying to get you to seek professional mental help. You
proceed despite Nature's directions, and disregard all friendly
attempts to redirect you. Nature gets your attention by breaking
a leg, and thinks nothing of it.
Your intentions appear to be honorable, but you are far removed
from anything resembling reality. It is but a short distance
from your imaginings of your self-importance, and the "paranoid
and shaking" you attribute to others, to full megalomania.
It is your life. Maybe you think your life is over, so you need
to go "all out" to make it better. But you are aimed towards the
city dump.

Dear Newsgroup:
I believe Newsgroups should not allow unknown names to be used in the
media, for greater public trust in our scientific debates.
I believe the administrators of newsgroups should request some
information about the writers upon registration.
They can provide secure sites for collecting the information, such as
address, SSN, education, etc.
It is appropriate to request about professional background of writers.
What I mean, is that these information are confidential, only the
users name such as John Doe will be surfaced on the postings.
This is essential for the health of these debates.
For example posters using the names like m8C27, Cindy, Tom, etc.
might use obscenity or offensive words without any further personal
consequences.
We are not dealing with ghosts, we are dealing with peoples.
Some of them actually might be one person.
Thus the newsgroups should make sure that a unique person is using the
media.
I personally do not respond (now) to short or unknown form or number
names.
I may sometimes use M.Basti for my name, but upon registration I wrote
Mehran Basti and appears in some newsgroups. It is a unique name.
