Because capitalists are evil, especially the white males. The sooner we can
shed these parasites the sooner Utopia will be here, as in Zimbabwe.

Because its a free global market, prices have risen. Those with the
money see more profit now in holding commodities rather than stock.
Since Roman times, governments have seen food riots cause revolution.
Thus those with the means buy up available commodities to ensure that
their own populations will not riot. Course, those that dont have the
money, as we see, have the riots instead.
People are starving in large part because Christian charities fed the
starving babies, but never also provided birth control. Thus,
populations have risen to the point where their own tribal ecosystems
will no longer support the numbers.
Aristotle said to resist the temptation to do charity because it creates
what we now call a 'dependency syndrome'. Rather, he said to conserve
your resources so that when the day came that you met another who could
become an independent, productive, sentient being, you have the assets
to be of assistance. The world would now be in vastly better shape if
people were Aristotelean rather than Christian. |

Supply, Demand, Profit.... no profit

Vietnam and some others are stopping the exportation of foods.

They've been starving ever since my Father turned on the TV in 1962.

The IPCC are not capitalists. On the other hand Al Gore is not only a
capitalist, but a very successful one at that. You should ask Al the
question. |

You mean like the Bush administration pulling any KKKonservative
Gubberment funding from any
aid program that provided family planning services.
But then under Libertarian rule, there wouldn't be any aid programs at
all, now would there?
Oh, by the way... There haven't been any significant number of starving
people in the world for the last 30 years. Lots of malnourished people, but
starvation has been the either the result of capitalists refusing to provide
food during times of famine or war.
Famine is invariably a Capitalist crime.

Given that the U.S. has been importing more food than it has been
producing through the entire Bush Administration, one has to wonder how the
U.S. tribe will manage to survive it's continuing fiscal and social
collapse. |

That's odd because starvation is essentially non-existant at this point,
with some limited exceptions.
The problem has gone from starvation to brain death due to malnutrition.
And then there are people like you who are starved of an education. |
