If you read it in (Convicted Conman) Conrad Black's National Post, you
know it's a lie. |

And, the AGW folks are celebrating! Any ruin they can do to the capitalist pigs
is cause for glee! But, people are starting to recognize the AGW scam, the
bio-fuel fiasco and the dangerous politics of Socialism. |

Vietnam and Thailand had record crops recently. The National Post
story you cited said Thailand had a poor crop. Both are recent articles.

Most everything I've been consuming has been selling for less than $2/
lb:
asparagus: $2/lb
loaf of bread: $1.70/lb
beef: $1.60/lb
sunflower seeds: $1.20/lb
broccoli: $1/lb
lentils: $1/lb
strawberries $1/lb
chicken < $1/lb
carrots: $0.50/lb
rice: $0.40/lb
milk: $0.35/lb
cabbage: $0.30/lb
oranges: $0.25/lb
onions: $0.20/lb
spuds: $0.17/lb
Olive oil, Dutch cocoa, refrigerated pickels and coffee cost more than
$2/lb but they seem to last weeks or months so they are affordable as
well. I'll wait until I move to some coast before I resume eating
much seafood.
Red wine is the most expensive single item. We need to get that cost
down.
What I don't understand is how beef can be cheaper than bread. I
heard a cow must be fed 10X it's final weight in grain -- it's only
10% efficient --, not to mention all the other problems dealing with
animals.
How are they doing it?

Tom Gardner still hasn't answered the question. There are large
stockpiles of grain available. If there is famine as he claims then why are
the capitalists not making the grain available to the starving? |

How much have YOU donated to the poor? I'll bet anything I have you beat by a
factor of 50! |

Who owns the "large stockpiles"? What percentage have you purchased and
distributed to the starving? You still haven't answered the question? (I can
guess at your answer!) |

Environmentalists are burning it in their car, why is it someone else's
responsibility to then buy the remaining high priced grain for the poor?
Let the Enviro-nuts solve it while they solve the rest of the world ills. |
