Why should NON-citizens have _any_ rights?
Right. Let's create an underclass of exploited green card holders
You leftist weenies are never bothered by facts... most of these
"immigrants" have NO green card... they're illegals.

Green Card holders are LEGAL aliens.

I responded directly to what YOU said.
If you MEANT something different,
you should have SAID something different.

Shoot 'em all; let God sort 'em out.
Good idea Actually I'm quite a bit more tolerant. First time we
catch you here illegally we finger-print and mug shot, then send you
back on a bus. Second time you get one year on the rock-pile.

I note that you convieniently snipped out
the *arithmetic* part of my post.
To summarize that:
If all that was available to the pool was *legal* labor,
the US economy would take a serious hit.
The (Republican?) agricultural barons would see it first,
as they are addicted to that cheap, exploitable labor force.
Which is nonsense. Agriculture is primarily 100% Green Card...
because, if they weren't, they'd be so easy to round up.
You're in San Diego County, right? The predominant undocumented's are
working fast food, restaurants and hotels. Same here in Arizona. Plus
we're a staging area for points east and north... like New York, New
Jersey, Massachusetts, Illinois and Michigan.

I don't fear the government here in the U.S. I know that when push comes
to shove we'll only take so much before armed rebellion happens.
You are hallucinating again. We the people have shitted away most of
what the Constitution had granted.
A few generations from "Give me liberty or give me death" to "Here are
my rights. Please take them but just protect me from that scarry man"
is disapointing. Now that habeas is gone without a wimper, I can't
imagine what will cause the uprising.

Why should NON-citizens have _any_ rights?
The New York Times, January 24, 2007: One of the Bush administration's
most far-reaching assertions of government power was revealed quietly
last week when Attorney General Alberto Gonzales testified that habeas
corpus -- the right to go to federal court and challenge one's
imprisonment -- is not protected by the Constitution.
"The Constitution doesn't say every individual in the United States or
every citizen is hereby granted or assured the right of habeas,"
Gonzales told Sen. Arlen Specter, R-Pa., during a Senate Judiciary
Committee hearing Jan. 17.

I think Madison would note that, you're not quoting the *Constitution*.

in many respects they were amateurs. I just read "Koba the Dread" by
Martin Amis. Holy crap Stalin was a bad bastard. those pricks made it a
capital crime to say you were hungry, when they were starving tens of
millions of peasants to death by the simple expedient of taking all
their food.
Of course Mao ZeDong had to go one better.....
Cheers
