More cogent predictions are showing relatively flat, but decreasing
temperatures, over the next five years.
We're running cool (so far) in Phoenix this year. Only had a couple
of days over 90°F.
Our standard is 190 days per year over 90°F.
Everyone stay away... it's hotter than hell here ;-)

Yup, its called the 11 year solar cycle. We just passed a minimum, so they (the smart ones) are predicting some cooling for
the next 5 years. With a doosey of A max at the next solar peak.
Makes sense, considering Paul had snow fall that broke a 75 year record. (Are you in those parts Paul?)

It isn't global warming any more it is climate change, and whichever way it
changes it will be bad and be our fault.
It was so much simpler when we used to believe in god and all we had to do
was pray harder.

Everybody complains about the weather, and no one does anything about
it. Then when something is done, everybody complains...
Sheesh!
Our incredible winter's snow is finally almost all melted... Wow! |

I read an article in the newspaper today that said the global
temperature has dropped quite a bit.

Ah, you are all wimps there in the Bay Area :-)
I did an EMC run near Moffett Field yesterday and we could only get a
night slot. Me in a thin shirt, the others complaining about the chilly
weather.
Took me 3.5 hours (!) just to get there ...

If it's any comfort we just stacked four cords of almond this morning.
Two cords used to be plenty around here (35mi east of Sacramento, CA).
Not anymore.

70F here (feels like 78 with the 38% RH), watched a MLB game with the
dome open. Other than the somewhat pricey $10 bud 'beer', a good day.

$10 Canadian? At our ballpark, beer is pretty much all $9, but they'll
mix you up a Black&Tan for the same price. The garlic fries are pretty
good.

This is a sweet little ballpark. The water in the foreground is China
Basin. When games are being played, it's full of boats and kayaks
waiting for splash-down homers. This pic looks like it's been
Photoshopped.
