Well, all I said is that I think many eye diseases are helped by the
rest methods. I don't think there is something wrong with that.

The problem is you're inviting someone to sit around and "rest" which is
absolutely the WRONG thing in some circumstances.

If you don't know the circumstances you can't hope to avoid harm by
recommending "rest".

If you don't know what you don't know, you can't help making that mistake.

If you continue, you reache a point where you are vulnerable to a charge of
criminal negligence.

Criminal negligence doesn't mean the constable will come lock you up and
charge you with a crime. In this country, it means a jury of twelve
untrained idiots get to decide whether you should have kept your mouth shut
and minded your own business. In the US, those decisions are quite often in
favor of the plaintiff. If that happens, you spend the next 25 years paying
off a huge civil award. If the decision is in YOUR favor, you get to spend
the next 15 years paying off the lawyers who defended you.

But as you've proven, this is YOUR newsgroup. You go ahead and continue
posting as you please. Nobody can tell YOU what to do.

I don't understand what my crime here is. I am just raising awareness
to Dr. Bates' Great Work, and hoping that it can be noticed by the
Orthodox. Why should I be punished for 25 years for that. I am not
telling anyone to not seek professional advice. I am not claiming to
be a doctor. I am just a honest person who is doing what he honestly
believes in.

Well, I never asked for your help, thanks.

It was MUCH more of a "yes" or "no" question.
