Hi,

Although I agree that lack of food and water will be a major cause of
war going forward I can't really believe your post.

I can only speak about 2 of the countries you list, the UK as I
currently live here and there are no street protests about bio fuels,
and in Zimbabwe there is no food on the shelves due to the 100,000%
inflation the country has due to the mishandling of the economy by the
83 year old nutter who runs the country, by the time farms have
harvested food to be sold the price they sell for is less then it
actually cost them to make the food in the first place. So if those 2
countries on your list are wrong then maybe the others are as well.

Thanks

Ethanol, also called ethyl alcohol, grain alcohol, or drinking alcohol,
is a flammable, colorless, chemical compound. It is best known as the
type of alcohol found in alcoholic beverages and in thermometers. In
common usage, it is often referred to simply as alcohol.

After the use of fire, fermentation of sugar into ethanol was perhaps
the earliest organic reaction known to humanity[citation needed], and
the intoxicating effects of ethanol consumption have been known since
ancient times. In modern times ethanol intended for industrial use has
also been produced from byproducts of petroleum refining.

Ethanol has a long history as a fuel, including as a fuel for internal
combustion engines.

Methanol, also known as methyl alcohol, carbinol, wood alcohol, wood
naphtha or wood spirits, is a chemical compound with chemical formula
CH3OH (often abbreviated MeOH). It is the simplest alcohol, and is a
light, volatile, colourless, flammable, poisonous liquid with a
distinctive odor that is somewhat milder and sweeter than ethanol (ethyl
alcohol). At room temperature it is a polar liquid and is used as an
*antifreeze* , solvent, *fuel* , and as a denaturant for ethyl
alcohol. It is also used for producing *biodiesel* via
transesterification reaction.

I understand perfectly well that too many people run off at

also armies killing and burning in some of the countries starving,
and I resent any jackass saying any of that is the fault of the US.

Bullshit, Asshole VD, you need to reword that. While seafood
always has been imported to a large extent, the only reason foods other
than nuts and bananas are imported in quantity is speculators trying to
make an extra dollar by importing.

A lot of vegetables may be imported out of season from the
Mexican Rio Grande valley and even Central and South America, but
the US easily grows more food than it needs, cheap foreign labor
and money hungry importers distort the picture.
