Of course it was. The idea was in the air for quite some times.
Everybody with a culture in Physics knows that he did not get the nobel

If anybody should have discovered SR before Albert E, it would've been
Lorentz.
But only Einstein challenged the invariance of time.
Poincare did the hard work?

All you contribute is misinformation and obfuscations.
Interesting, you talk to yourself now...
No, just talking to you.
You have absolutely no contributions to geological science anywhere,
except in your dreams.
I don't have dreams. I'm way too rational for that.
But you certainly live on "wishful thinking island".
Translation: "I have made no contributions to geological science"
Addendum
To those lacking the ability to critically think
Quote:
Regarding to my contribution to Science. It's allright, thanx.
You mean science fiction.
That is your realm of expertise.

BTW, where does the matter come from?
(Your grammar's fucken awful.)
That sounds great coming from the person that doesn't know the
difference
between "your" and "you're" and constantly uses the wrong one.
And I think he meant exactly what he said. "Where does THE matter
come
from?", meaning THE matter that is magically appearing out of
nothing,
not
just any old "matter".
What matter? If you do not think the Earth is expanding, or has, it
is a non-question. However, since it is expanding, there is a
source,
and since there is a source, it is the box we try to fit the
Universe
into that needs to change. It is that simple.

So we are totally upheave the laws of physics (which work everything
else)
just to find a mechanism behind your BELIEF that the Earth is
expanding.
Got it - now I understand how your brain works.
This, of course, is the conclusion you come to because you do not know
any better.
Which says it all
Until you come up with evidence that Earth is expanding and explain the
mechanism, your premise is nothing but belief.
Have rock solid evidence for expansion,
What a crock of shit.
The age pattern on the ocean floor is in rock and shows nothing but
expansion, and falsifies Plate Tectonics.
The FACT that that subduction occurs shows you are talking through your hat.
PLONK.
The fact you cannot show the whole process REQUIRED for subduction,
recycling of crust, shows you have nothing for a fact.
And your PLONK shows you as being at a loss.
