Hot gas tends to come out of gas turbines in myexperience, but then again
maybe its for the benefit of the safing crew so they can have a runway party
with hot food.

Brian being silly.

PS I could see in the early9os, and I'm sure this came up then on a night
landing, and was put down to the exhaust.
