If anyone has a copy of this great lamp data program please send it to me.
I have been waiting 2 years for their updated version. Thanks.

Just a heads up Jim, you may get spammed... spambots like to roam the
usenet.

For what it's worth...

GE has a spreadsheet that takes beam angles, distances and such and
draws the resulting pool. I have only an old beta copy, but if we all
contact our GE rep then they might hurry up the final version.

GE says the new version is about to be uploaded to their web site; but it's
available now at:

www.lumendesigner.com/Downloads/Provider/GE/LB%20Setup.exe

It's got a different look and feel than the earlier versions; but the
graphics are excellent and it remains very easy to use.

Attention sci.engr.lighting users

The fear of downloading and exe file from usenet is formidable. The
danger is amplified by the fact that the REAL TKM doesn't have three r's
in his first name.

Sorry to cast doubt on the Light Beams download purity, TeRRRy. It

really is a very nice program, and a far way better than previous v.
IMHO. Thanks for posting the link.

Thank you for your vigilance, Jeff. The best thing to do, of course, is to
wait until GE posts Light Beams on their web site. I did, however, download
it myself without problems from the site indicated above (It's a corporate
site from the developer who did the programming work) and I did make a
mistake when I typed my signature in the original note.
