Recent articles on Gap and classroom behavior
All urls were tested this morning and are up and running.
I count 44 recent news paper articles published within the
last year. The majority were published within the last
three months.
I challenge anyone to find one forth as many articles that
show that DAFNz are the academic equal or intellectual equal
of either whites, asians, or hispanics. I'll accept
newspaper, magazine and professional journal articles. If
you egalitarians think it would make your task any easier,
I'll even let you search back FIVE years.

My conclusion:
DAFN intellectual inferiority appears to be ubiquitous.

" In the meantime, answers to critical questions remain
unanswered: Why do minorities lag in MEAP performance?
Educators suggest a variety of answers, citing economics,
unqualified teachers and a lack of goals.
Why the gap?"

Don't ask unless you are prepared to hear the whole
unvarnished truth. Educators have been saddled with DAFNz
for at least 30 years. You think, being educated and having
that much time to examine the problem, they would have
figured it out by now. Another good reason to keep you
precious children out of public skewls.

Minority students' test results alarm districts
http://www.thetimesherald.com/news/stories/20031014/localnews/450270.html

White students in Port Huron schools significantly
outperformed minority students -- excluding Asians -- on
every subject of last year's MEAP test, according to results
released earlier this month.

Minorities, primarily blacks, Hispanics and American
Indians, lagged by about 50% on many of the Michigan
Educational Assessment Program tests students took in
fourth, fifth, seventh and eighth grades last winter.

Local gaps between minorities and whites mirrored those
reported across the state.

To close the gap, Port Huron school officials plan to find
out what's working and what's not in classrooms. They plan
to do so without concentrating on race.

"It's about helping Johnny, not Johnny's skin color," said
Cathy Lozen, the district's curriculum director. "If our
goal is to help every child, the gap will close by itself."

Not all parents believe schools should be colorblind.

"The district tries to make it equal for everybody," said
Fred Thomas, who is black and has two children in Port Huron
schools.

"They should pay more attention to all the students of
different (racial) groups."

In the meantime, answers to critical questions remain
unanswered: Why do minorities lag in MEAP performance?

Educators suggest a variety of answers, citing economics,
unqualified teachers and a lack of goals.

Why the gap? ...

Still sad, silly, uncivilized, and, illiterate, to boot.

First article on the list, ninth paragraph:
.. Whites from families with incomes of less than $10,000 had
a mean SAT score of 980. This is 123 points higher than the
national mean for all blacks.
.. Whites from families with incomes below $10,000 had a mean
SAT test score that was 46 points higher than blacks whose
families had incomes of between $80,000 and $100,000.
.. Blacks from families with incomes of more than $100,000
had a mean SAT score that was 142 points below the mean
score for whites from families at the same income level.

Byron, you aren't making any points by lying about what
