I just purchased a Sylvania 13 watt spiral 5,000 K CFL because the
package had a mention of "full spectrum". I purchased this to check out
the spectrum so that I can comment on it.

So I check out the spectrum with CDs and diffraction gratings, and find
it to be a usual triphosphor spectrum for daylight-like color
temperatures. I have an impression that the more-regular-posters in this
newsgroup have some familiarity with that spectrum!

Any comments here?

I am aware of lack of an "official" or "industry-standard" definition
of "full spectrum".

Would it be helpful if I take a photo of this lamp through a diffraction
grating and post here a link to the spectrum photo?

Would it be helpful for me to photograph the front and rear surfaces of
the package and post links to those? Would it be helpful for me to send
this lamp to someone with a spectrometer?
