KACHING!! $5 - promoting anti-vaccination liar site

Define promoting.

Referring to. Telling people to go to. Mentioning.

Not promoting, just showing very few of the dangers of vaccines

And when are you going to show the advantages and benefits?

News flash. You don't have to mention it here.

Actually, you denied it and did your usual deceiving dance.

I would like to thank Jan for providing a link to my business web
site. I don't ever mention it here, because to do so would be against
the newsgroup rules, but I can't stop anyone else mentioning it.

Gebesse is a computer consulting company specialising in providing

to small and medium-sized businesses. Our mission is to apply the highest
quality products and services towards solving our clients' business
problems, so that our clients can do what they set out in business to do -
which is not usually to become computer experts. The company has been
operating since October 1987.

Yes, Jan, I have a job. I work for a company which sells stuff, as do
most people. That company has a web site. What has any of this got to
do with "scientists" who lie in order to sell fake cures for autism?

Thank you again, Jan, for reminding people of my comprehensive
demolition of Rod's pathetic attempt to smear ACAHF.

There is another lie. Rod's title was:

The Australian Council Against Health Fraud- Mr Peter Bowditch

To all concerned:

Under another heading I stated that I would post my comments in reply to
Peter Bowditch suggesting that I look up the ACAHF site to find out for
myself what it was all about rather than he directly answer me.

OK that is fair enough and here are my findings.

Firstly, the viewer is targeted with "For a Limited time only"

"Anyone applying for membership will receive a complimentary copy of The
Great Sceptic 2, plus much more. Mr Bowditch is the Vice President of The
Australian Sceptics. NSW."

Secondly, "DVD for Sale". Ratbags.com provides two talks by Peter Bowditch
Quote "thanks to our good friends at Gebesse Computer Consultants" (Company
owned and managed by Peter Bowditch.)
The DVD only costs A$28 plus postage of $11.

Now the site goes on (left hand) with the following headings:

1."About the Australian Council Against Health Fraud." Apart from some
writings there is a registered Incorporation in New South Wales and a yet to
be confirmed ABN (Australian Business Number)
2. "Contact Information:" No physical business address is stated.
3. "Membership:" It costs only A$121 or US $80. You can use paypal but that
must be in US$.
4. "Sponsoring ACAHF:" Guess who the sponsor is? Gebesse Computer Systems.
That's Peter Bowditch.
5. Donations: Pay Pal is US $, Visa and cheques readily accepted
6. "Media Releases." One only dated 25th October 2003.
7. "Shareholders and Investments:" None.

On the right side of the site there are a lot of things coming soon (since
October 2003)

Now what is of interest is that this site hosts advertising and I read the
following ads by Gooooogle.

Alternative Medicine: This add was from the Australian Institute of Holistic
Medicine and it is promoting HOMEOPATHIC MEDICINE.

The Second Add is also interesting: It is by Mark Phillips advertising his
ACUPUNCTURE Services.

Look call me DAFT, but here is a site run by Peter Bowditch, who is well
known for his views against anything alternative, yet it HOUSES ADDS FOR
ALTERNATIVES.

That simply means that Peter Bowditch is having it both ways by receiving
advertising funds from alternative institutes and practitioners whilst
SELLING, requesting SUBSCRIPTIONS and DONATIONS whilst all the time
denigrating the Alternative treatments and professions.

I note that some of the task forces by ACAHF are Homeopathy, Chiropractic,
"Energy Medicine",Vaccination, Supplements, Veterinary Quackery and Others.

Yet there is no mention of any activity by ACAHF for the past three years in
any of these Taskforces.
I suspect for one good reason only. They are not an authority to deal with
same.

So is this site a Quackery site ?
