Dear Colleagues,
The Journal "Annales de la Fondation Louis de Broglie" (France)
http://www.ensmp.fr/aflb/AFLB-Web/en-annales-index.htm has a long
tradition with organizing special issues. This year we decided to
organize a thematic special issue on Torsion in modern physics.
We kindly invite you to contribute to it by sending us an article.
The "Annales de la Fondation de Broglie" is a Journal founded by the
pupils of the Nobel Prize Winner Louis de Broglie. The main office of
this Journal is located in Paris, France.
We are looking for high-quality papers in the research areas related
to the names of de Broglie, Belinfante, Cartan, Dirac, Majorana,
Ricci, Vigier, Lochak.
Only papers written with logical and mathematical rigour will be
considered. However, contributors should be aware that they should
shape their language so as to be comprehensible to students of
physics. In particular, we hope that the authors will present new
ideas which can open the field of debate for free and open
discussion. We are sure that not all of the possible discoveries, not
all the exciting things possible in physics, have been done. Looking
for new ideas, we want to recover the interest in the development of
fundamental physics at many universities, as well as being eager to
find significant wide-spread technological applications and
economical profit from the ideas of particle physics and gravitation.
We are sure that only new ideas may assist us in solving this task.
The aim of this collection of essays is also to draw attention to
long-lived problems in modern physics, which must be solved. All
views on the paths of development of fundamental physics are
considered by us on an equal footing, without fear or favour.
All papers should be submitted by e-mail to Prof. V. Dvoeglazov and
Mrs. D. Morenas
(<mailto:editor@planck.reduaz.mx>editor@planck.reduaz.mx and
<mailto:inst.louisdebroglie@free.fr>inst.louisdebroglie@free.fr )
in LaTeX, RevTeX, AMS-TeX or Plain-TeX-format. Standard LaTeX format
is preferable. PostScript is the preferable format for figures.
Papers with figures should be submitted in pdf files too. Papers
should not, in general, exceed 15 printed pages (12pt styles).
The deadline for submission is October 15, 2007.
The invited papers will be included in the volume; other submitted
papers will be reviewed by 2-3 independent referees.
Please feel free to distribute this announcement in your University.
V. Dvoeglazov, D. Fargue, X. Oudet
