These sneaked in after dark:

6.9 2007/07/26. 05:40. MOLUCCA SEA
6.1 2007/07/25. 23:37. NICOBAR ISLANDS, INDIA REGION.

It is interesting to note that the weather has improved somewhat in
the UK in the last day or so, contrary to expectations. Perhaps it is
something to do with the typhoon forming in the west Pacific but if
so, why didn't the models catch it?

The Highs are still not very high but the Lows are fairly respectable:

It got warm here a few hours back, which got us into the low sixes.

Not bad for a negative NAO and no backache.

Well, there you go:
7.2 Mag. 2007/08/01 17:08 VANUATU

The wait is over but to be honest I should have thought there would be
more. Of course once it started rattling the volcanoes all bets were
off.
