Shit, we don't even pay for it. We just hand over U.S. securities.

Yep. We cannot maintain our negative balance of trade. We need to become
energy independent, using domestic coal and nuclear power, and we need to
cut off trade with China, which is very harmful to the American economy.

Don't you think it is a little late for these 'needs'?

No, and why are you asking?

We are 5% of the world and consume 25% of the oil. Hardly a fabrication.
You can take your partisan crap and shove it BTW.

BFD. We export lots of fertilizer and agriculture products that feeds the
world. If we cut back to what YOU think is right, billions will starve.
Your numbers are out of context.

You argue on the one hand that we don't pay for it and
it's cheap.

No argument. It is what the numbers say.

You're irrational. "Cheap" and your socialist/communist idea of what our
share should be, based on your belief in the redistribution of the product
of industry, are two different concepts.

BTW, an "argument" doesn't mean disputed, it means "here are the facts and
the logic to reach this conclusion".

Which is it? Cheap oil, or price gouging? Pick a pony and ride it.

I never said anything about oil profits. Are you out to build a strawman?

Great. You're fine with the profits of the oil companies.

Electing Democrats allows us to avoid foreign
entanglements??? To which party did Wilson, FDR, Truman,
Kennedy, Johnson, Carter, And Clinton belong? The
Federalists?

Jeesh...

Flip side of the same coin. Why limit yourself to a marginally less evil
choice?

Yet its the Leftists who support the .36 cents a gallon tax on fuel.

Seems to me..they WANT to gouge the public.

Now they are trying to put a $0.75 a pack tax on cigarettes with the
money earmarked for medical aid to children.

They earmarked the Lottery money in California for the schools too.

Damned shame the Libs in California divert that money as well.

So much for "id be for da chillins"

Very often, the most evil of acts is excused by the evildoers as "for
the children".

Or under the guise of bringing democracy to the world eh Stuart.

Speaking of democracy, what about them Palestenians eh? Democracy is great
as long as the dummies have the sense to vote who we want into office.

Yes. Some people are too ignorant to make a democracy work. They vote and
go through the motions, then they get their guns out and slaughter each
other. The victor gets to drag the losers out of their homes and shoot
them. This is what your terrorist buddies in Palestine did, isn't it?

Democracy is a concept that will not work for people like the Iraqis, the
Palestinians, Carroll or you. If there are too many people like you,
democracy cannot work.
