It is very rare to find with programming skills with meteriology
background. We are actively looking for programmers with the
following
Job Responsibilities:
-Excellent programming skills in a variety of languages. Python, Java,
C, C++ and Tel/TK
- Developing interactive techniques for preparing 4-dimentional data
cubes of aviation data elements.
- Four dimentional database that will drive other software such as
decision assistance tools.
- Mission critical systems and applications development support
-Support the production of aviation weather elements and developing
techniques to manipulate gridded forecasts of aviation.
-Design, develop, test, and deploy programs that process, store, and
retrieve large amounts of ticketing data
-Maintain overall product functionality and compliance with specs
-Deliver a scalable, robust, highly available applications to clients
Requirements:
-Strong C/C++,J2EE/Java, Python, SQL
-Tel/Tk, Fortran
-Good written and teamwork-oriented communication skills
-Experience with Configuration Management systems, Serena, ChangeMan
Dimentions.
-Linux/Unix
Bonus points for:
-Sys admin and database skills
-Positive attitude
Education:
-BS or MS in Meteriology or related field and 6+ years of hands-on
experience
-H-1B transfers, OPT and new H1 considered |
