Oh, please do define 'positive contribution'...
Anything other than "it can't be done" or "it won't make a difference" maybe ?
And, why don't you support the hydrogen economy?
I thought that was pretty obvious. Using hydrogen as a fuel requires more energy
overall than not using hydrogen !
Quote: Why all the negative posts?
Because of the above.

As ever you talk in riddles.
Why don't you say what you actually think would be a good idea for once instead of
playing the court jester ?

All present production may amount to a quarter of a quad. The world will

What does that mean ? Liquid fuels alone ? An average of 75/20 quads p.a. over
20 years so assuming a linear increase then 7.5 quad p.a. on top of existing use
after 20 yrs have passed ?
If you don't like the number, argue with the EIA.
As ever, I ask a straight question and you answer it with a riddle.
Get over yourself.

I have. As far as 'court jester', look in the mirror. |

You hear a riddle because you are busy playing 'thick head'.
Nothing to get over. |

Sorry can't tell! but I can prove if any media wants to see the living
proofs.
I'm waiting for Gas price to sky-rocket again, then I'll tell people... |

You'd be much better off if you added an electric motor and used the
battery power directly.
Have you done any calculations to determine what percentage of the
battery energy would actually make it into energy to drive the vehicle
using your scheme? You might be surprised. |

Sorry to jump in, if you can prove that your car can run on Hydrogen alone,
then I would believe you.
On the other hand, I can prove that a car can run efficiently with Gasoline
alone, no hybrid, no hydrogen. 2X on performance and mileage. |

I agree he is.
Ideas are dangerous - Stalin. Work is mandatory - Stalin.
Orwell's factory is safety - Stalin. Ideas are for Stalin - Stalin.
Hey man,
I think your idea might help boosting the car's energy, do you know where I
can buy the water electrolytic container? I will supply my own battery. |

Detailed analysis at http://www.tinaja.com/whtnu05.asp for Nov 19th.
But it turns out my estimate for fanbelt efficiency at 97 percent was
way high. Typically 93 percent or less.
This gets you down to around 75 watts recovered at the pulley for 1000
watts input.
The system is thus a dynamic brake.

You will be the only one that doesn't understand how stupid your answer
is. I take that back. Josh and H2PV won't get it.........
Dan,
Please don't insult Josh by putting him in the same league as H2PV.
Josh is just someone who has seen all the glowing websites produced by
the car companies and the government, and believes them. After all, they
are professionals, and we are just the amatuers! 8-)
H2PV ain't even sure what universe he is in...
