I don't think people become engraged right away.. I think that often
people become enraged when they are angry ans someone pushes their
buttons. People who are enraged often don't know what to do.
I don't know but it does seem to fit. |

Is rage a separate emotion from anger? It seems that it might just be
farther along the anger continuum. |

People who become enraged become so angry that they become apoplectic
and cannot move.
apoplectic
Furious to the point of having a stroke - that's how columnist Bob
Herbert of The New York Times described the Bush administration:
"...the big problem for Bush & Co. - the thing that makes the
president and his apologists apoplectic - is the mere fact that this
domestic spying program has come to light."
There is another definition of the term.
IN BRIEF: Suffering from a sudden loss of movement and consciousness.
The doctors were confused about the patient's apoplectic condition.
Ever see a cartoon where the mouse makes the cat so mad that he canot
move? |

Hello?
My name is Linda Gore.
For the past 6 and 1/2 years, I've been a target of vigilante stalking
organized by trained and licensed "mental health professionals lol" who
have been deliberately attempt to antagonize and/or enrage me into a
apoplectic condition so I will say or do stuff that will incite OP to
falsely perceive I have the fictitious psychiatric condition which usenet's
Stalking Therapists began falsely LIBELING me as having when usenet's
stalking therapists commenced posting blatant lies to try and switch the
blame for usenet's stalking therapists having endangered my and my son's
lives during the vigilante gang stalking they organized to unhinge the
whistleblowing ex-hubby of a mentally deranged pdoc, from the stalking
therapists who stalked the whistleblowing exhubby of the pdoc....to yours
truly or one of the hardest hit victims of usenet's stalking therapists
organized vigilante stalking of the whistlblowing exhubby of the mentally
deranged pdoc.
I submit, that if anyone knows what becoming enraged is like....it's yours
truly!
I further submit, that if anyone possesses knowledge wrt how one can
successfuly cope with OP deliberatly engaging in behavior intended to
antagonize and enrage you....it's yours truly.
And, I submit that being a stoic is the only way to successfully cope with
OP engaging in behavior to deliberatly antagonize and enrage you.

"Some things are in our control and others not. Things in our control
are
opinion, pursuit, desire, aversion, and, in a word, whatever are our
own actions.
Things not in our control are body, property, reputation, command, and,
in one word,
whatever are not our own actions.
The things in our control are by nature free, unrestrained, unhindered;
but those not in
our control are weak, slavish, restrained, belonging to others.
Remember, then, that if you
suppose that things which are slavish by nature are also free, and that
what belongs to
others is your own, then you will be hindered. You will lament, you
will be disturbed, and
you will find fault both with gods and men. "

"The Duchy of Grand Fenwick decides that the only way to get out of their
economic woes is to declare war on the United States, lose and accept
foreign aid. They send an invasion force to New York (armed with longbows)
which arrives during a nuclear drill that has cleared the streets. Wandering
about to find someone to surrender to, they discover a scientist with a
special ultimate weapon that can destroy the Earth. When they capture him
and his bomb they are faced with a new possibility: What do you do when you
win a war?"

General Snippet: Remember, men, no matter what they do, don't talk.
U.S. Policeman: What if they torture us?
General Snippet: Just don't talk!
U.S. Policeman: Can we scream a little?

Instead of speculating and guessing, you might get farther if you look

Anger and rage can either be primary (hypothalamus response; see
Cannon and Bard and "sham rage") or secondary, which means anger
as an affective state can be elicited from one's own
interpretation of situations or events as threatening.

have an MS in psychology and I work as a therapist. Unless you have

Scientists rarely speculate publicly, it's a good way of appearing
foolish.
So you work as a physical therapist? With an MS in psychology?
Tell me, what difference does it make regarding your level of education?
There are many with higher degree's than yourself that can appear just
as foolish and self-centered. It does not a wise person make, nor does
it insure intelligence. (ref:BJ) |

They may.
But, they don't do so publicly.
Because, the stalkerazi will stalk and terrorize any who do. |
