This is probably a little early, but you could go now and bookmark for
12-24 or so..
Every year since the early 1950s, North American Aerospace Defense
Command (NORAD) has used radar, satellites, Santa cams and jet fighter
aircraft to monitor Santa's annual trip around the world. There are
several ways to track Santa with NORAD. Families can go to
www.noradsanta.org for a fun Santa countdown. The site includes
real-time Santa tracking on Dec. 24. Finally, phone lines will be open
starting Dec. 24, at 2 a.m., through 2 a.m. on Dec. 25, for children to
speak directly to a NORAD Santa Tracker when they call 1-877-Hi-NORAD.
I found the history of how it got started really interesting in a
"War Games"-esque way. |
