In Sudbury:
Implant surgery $2250./implant
Implant abutment $1000./implant
Implant Crown $1500/implant
Kind of pricey, but if you can live in Sudbury you should be able to
come up with the approx 5G no sweat.
Now you could try Gentle Dental or Aspen Dental. They might have lower
fees because they may not use the expensive implants like Straumann and
Nobel. They also take kids right out of school who will work for less.
However, you will get what you pay for. Caveat Emptor.
Implants are one of the BEST services provided by modern dentistry. It's
just too bad that the companies that make them charge so much for every
damn little piece which results in a higher fee to the patient. They
also support a cadre of salemen, thes guys dress slick. I'm sure they
don't come cheap. A new SLActive straumann implant costs $330. Then they
charge for the screws, impression transfer copings...the list goes on.
Maybe you can find a dentist who uses Bicon. Personally I don't like the
system, but the treatment should be less.
Also don't forget what the dentist has as far as malpractice e.g.
perforate the sinus, bisect the IA nerve. He has to charge some premium
for his taking these risks. |
