(Both of these are meant as nouns.)
Thank you!

Well, my second attempt was no improvement on the first. Therefore
please feed the following html code into your browser.
<html>
wart: いぼ<br>
salt: 塩 (しお)<br>
table salt: 食塩
(しょくえん)<br>
</html>
Oh, and the words are pronounced "ibo", "shio", and "shokuen". ("sh" as
in English, and all vowels as in Italian.)

A good, free, online reference for J-E/E-J translation is Jim Breen's
http://wwwjdic.net server.
As others have mentioned, a wart is "ibo". Translating "salt" into
Japanese accurately requires more context. The two main possibilities
are the combining form "en" (and its compounds) and the colloquial "shio"
(inflected appropriately for the speaker's age and sex).
