I'm thinking about getting the Garmin MapSource City Navigator Europe
(010-10373-00 http://shop.garmin.com/accessory.jsp?
sku=010%2D10373%2D00) for my trip to Europe this Summer and had a few
questions:

** It sells for about $300 on Garmin's site, but I've found it in the
low 200's on some other sites such as erwincomp.com. Is there a
difference if it's the same product id and description?

** The description talks about creating waypoints and what not on your
PC, and transferring to compatable GPS units. But does it actaully
allow you tro transfer all the Europe maps, including the unlock
codes, everything I need to take my unit to Europe and use it the same
way I do here in the states (w/ the pre-loaded data)? I've read a few
things about purchasing unlock codes, so I want to make sure I don't
have to shell out cash for those as well.

** I have a Nuvi 350 which I think has approximately 700 MB internal
memory. I assume this is available memory outside of the base US maps
that are pre-loaded? Would all of the Europe maps fit on the internal
memory? If not, any idea how much?

** If all of the Europe maps won't fit on the internal memory, what
size SD card should I get, 1 GB enough? Is there a way to spread the
maps across the internal memory and the SD card, or is it one or the
other?

** Any idea what size SD card the SD data card, City Navigator NT,
Europe product comes with for $350?

Thanks a lot for your feedback!

I can only speek for my GPS60CSx. You get 70% of Europe on a 1 GB card.

So if you have 1.7 GB this should be sufficient.

You'd be better off just downloading CN Europe NT from the internet
and buying an unlock code from one of the Garmin hackers. You paypal
them $40 and your unit ID # and they will figure out the unlock code
to enable you to unload the maps to your Garmin. Mine works great and
I saved $200. Let me know if anyone needs the contact info for the
unlock code guy.
