I just acquired a multi-mig welder model 90070. It looks brand new but
doesnt have a manual with it. it was either manufactured or distributed by
the (triple A Specialty co., 5750 W 51St., Chicago, Il 60638.
Would anyone have any Information on this welder and possible where I could
buy supplies for it (Wire and Gas).
Thanks In Advance |

I hope you didn't pay much for it! :)
The address doesn't match to a company name, the location is a large
office/warehouse complex in Glenn, Ill, SW of downtown Chicago.
I did a quick search, not much came up. It's likely a rebrand of some
out of production or off shore manufacturer. If it works, fine. If not,
good luck on getting any parts.
More than likely it is set up for flux core wire. Just grab a 2 pound
spool of .030" flux wire at your local home store, set the electrode
positive (should be quite clear from markings in the area around the
drive wheel), and try it out. I would make sure it runs before investing
in any sort of gas regulators and bottles.

Never heard of it but if you can post a picture somewhere, like maybe to the
drop box:
http://metalworking.com/dropbox.html
someone may recognize it and be able to help.

To answer both..
the welder was never used still has co'2 gas bottle full and regulator never
opened. The welder was purchased new about 10 years ago. I received the
welder for free from someone due to age would never use.
With a little digging I have found out the welder was made by (Telwin in
Italy) and distributed by Triple A Specialty co., Chicago, Il. Which seems
to have gone out of business.
What Iam looking for is anyone that might have info,(owners manual, where if
possible to still buy parts"Tips")
Only think I could find on net was someone selling one on e-bay with a pic.

If iam in the wrong group "please" suggest where I might look!
Thanks in advance..

If its a Telwin, then its probably got a Binzel-Style torch.
you should be able to get tips and torch parts from any Binzel, or
Binzel-Style torch stockist.
