Do you understand that the human devised principles for the equable 24
hour day does not require an external reference and there is none to
be found hence the Equation of Time ?
Nonsense. The 24 hour clock is based on the sun - an external
reference.
Do you clearly understand that the noon Equation of Time correction
keeps the 24 hour day constant and seamlessly elapsing into the next
24 hour day ?
I thought there was no external reference...
Do you clearly understand that Copernicus discovered axial rotation
causes the daily cycle ?
Yes. Anyone who has completed third grade knows that. Miss Decker
had a model of the solar system, and she could turn a crank and all
the visible planets (and the moon) would rotate and revolve
approximatly at rates relative to what they do in space. It's
something any third grader can understand. But you are still stuck in
third grade.
Do you understand how the heliocentric astronomers made excellent use
of the older principles which create the equable 24 hour day,how they
just overlayed the principles which create the 24 hour day on top of
terrestrial longitudes ?.
Yes. But they knew more than you do, including that a day is not a
rotation.
Do you understand that in order for the clock/axial correlation to
work, the Equation of Time had to be applied ?
You keep blabbing on about the equation of time. If it's an equation,
then give us the formula...
Considering that it is many years since I actively promoted the
astronomical timekeeping system which keep clocks in sync with axial
rotation and I have still to see one person here grasp the basics, even
when most have heard how clocks resolved longitude.
I've asked you this question several times. You always ignore it.
Sometimes you reply a long nonsense post, but this calls for one
word. Yes or no - do you honestly believe the earth rotates exactly
once in 24 hours?
Austin (not expecting a truthful reply)
The value which you assign to axial rotation and the justification is
outright fundamentalism, worse still,it appears to be in the majority -

God forbid you ever know just how bad things actually are,I assure you
that you need a Christian faith to deal with a fundamentalist/cult
approach to topics which should not last a week if any real authority
existed.
As expected, a non-answer. Don't call on your Christianity (or attack
mine) when you can't answer a simple question.
