"is regarded" By whom? Where? When?
By you? By the Great Unwashed?

Why do you care at all?

I mean doscovery of E=mc2 is credited to Einstein only. Whereas there
are others who did work on the topic and paved way for Einstein.

What makes you believe that. It is simply not true.

Having read just -one- newspaper article does not
qualify you to give such fundamental statements.
A million newspaper articles do not make up a worthful
data base, as newspapers are asswipes only.

Do you really believe that is your original discovery?

Do you think nobody else before you noticed that?
Your efforts are superfluous, too little, and 100 years too late..

Well it is in literature. I have quoted the facts in research papers
and book.
I have given all references.
In my book

100 Years of E=mc2.
https://www.novapublishers.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=23_48_324&products_id=4554

I have discussed all aspects of E=mc2.
When it was derived?
Which is the most original paper?
The answer to his question is
A.Einstein, Annalen der Physik 18 (1905) 639-641.
.. DOES THE INERTIA OF A BODY DEPEND
UPON ITS ENERGY-CONTENT?
Weblink is
Einstein's 27 Sep 1905 paper available at
http://www.fourmilab.ch/etexts/einstein/E_mc2/www/

Under what conditions E=mc2 was derived ?
What are limitations of the derivation ?
What could be next form of E=mc2?
All these things are discussed . With availability of INTERNET, all
things became easier.

People are realising the truths now.
