For those who would be attracted by Franz Gnaedinger's fanciful posts
quoting Derk Ohlenroth's translation of the Phaistos Disk, I believe
useful to give some details about this "translation".

1)- D. Ohlenroth reads the text from the center, what has been
demonstrated BEYOND ANY DOUBT to be the WRONG direction of reading
(See the complete demonstration in J. Faucounau's book "Le
dechiffrement du Disque de Phaistos" ).
2)- He does'n't pay any attention to the "word-separators". So, a word
like YLKAIOS covers two compartment (or more precisely : 1 + 2/3 ).
3)- He supposes the script to be alphabetic, in spite of its 45
different signs. As a consequence, there are 6 signs with the value a,
6 with the value I, 3 with the value N, 5 with the value S, etc.
4)- In spite of this abundance of homophonic signs, the word "KAN" is
written KA (no N-ending !), the word SIRUNS is written SLRUNS, etc.

This is enough, I believe, to demonstrate how little serious is
Ohlenroth's attempt...
