Many people in this Group (Bobby, Peter, etc.) LOVE "Brute Logic",
because it's the best way to deny ANY scientific theory. For instance,
the Earth has been said to be a sphere because :
1)- When a ship arrives, the first thing to be seen is the mast.
Well, Brute Logic adepts say : But there is NO PROOF that the light
goes in straight line. And this is TRUE : some astronomers have even
shown that a ray of light can be curved !...
2)- One may make a round trip around the Earth. Brute Logic lovers
answer : Earth could be a cylinder.
3)- Photos of the Earth, taken from Space, show a sphere. Brute Logic
adept object : A cylinder or a disk can give the same picture.
Etc.
There is no possibility to have a scientific discussion with lovers of
BRUTE LOGIC. They IGNORE what a PROBABILITY is. For them, an
hypothesis having one out of a million chances to be true has THE SAME
VALUE as one having one out of a million chances to be false !...
Their motto ?..
"If it looks like an orange juice and tastes as an orange juice, it's
NOT an orange juice !"...

You misunderstand both science (the scientific method) and logic (it's uses
and abuses.)
Not to mention how the Earth is detemined to be an approximate sphere
and what such confirmation really means.
Hint: The "ship sails over the horizon" doesn't even work; due to water
vapor
the sails DO NOT appear first.
You really need to study how science works, instead of attempting to use the
overly simplistic and erroneous assumptions you have made about science and
logic.

In fact the ship can be seen farther away than a straight line would
permit because of the humid air curving the light.

Science is based upon physical evidence. If you can associate a
probability to the existance of physical evidence then you have an issue.
Science continues to observe until the fact is established.
Science cannot and is not conducted absent physical evidence. Why do
you talk about probabilities?

Read the label for the ingredients to be sure. And then as they USDA
for the definition of orange juice, real or reconstituted and what
percentage is required to use the term.
