What follows is a transparent smear job lacking any solid proof of its
allegations. Galloway annihilated Hitchens in open debate, and
Hitchens is now clearly ready to obfuscate, fabricate and prevaricate
to try and get even -- or just to save face.

??? Galloway said nothing of consequence. He coughed
up a few bumper stickers for the crowd. He made
a few references to Hitchens well publicized
"conversion".
To be fair, Hitchens didn't say too much either, but
it was at least *something*.

Right. The issue is that Galloway also exposed the US Senate as a
gang of bone-headed international bullies, bunglers and liars, and
they are out for revenge, no matter how many financial records have to
be forged, no matter how much perjury suborned.

No, it isn't. For one thing, it calls the Mariam Appeal Galloway's
political campaign, clearly a flat-out lie.
Has the US Senate been right about _anything_ regarding Iraq?
Maybe instead of obsessively trying to frame Galloway, the US Senate
should spare a small fraction of its attention for the shady US
corporations that took _orders_of_magnitude_ more money out of the Oil
for Food program, and gave it to Bush.

Hehe. When the first forgeries are exposed, you make better ones.
When the first witnesses recant, you get more easily frightened ones.
Don't you get it? The Senate has _already_been_caught_lying_ in its
attempts to get Galloway. Forged evidence against him has _already_
been exposed. The US Senate can _never_ be in the right about this
issue, even if Galloway is guilty as hell. And there is clearly no
lack of US citizens and corporations that are far guiltier than
Galloway for the Senate to train its inquisitorial powers on.

Where? The only "forged evidence" story has been about
yellowcake stuff ( and it's not clear *that*
was "forged" ).
