Mahatma Gandhi
on The Christian Missionary Menace

I Disbelieve in Conversion

Gandhi was deeply influenced by the teachings of Jesus particularly the
sacrifice Jesus had to undergo during crucification for a noble cause.
The teachings of the New Testament specially the Sermon: "You have heard
that it hath been said: An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. But I
say to you not to resist evil; but if one strikes thee on thy right
cheek, turn to him thy other also" impressed Gandhi very much.
Satyagraha, in the hands of Gandhi had been a weapon of conquering evil
by good. Gandhi said that he had the same liking for the Sermon as he
had for the Gita. To use Gandhi's words, "Today supposing I was deprived
of the Gita and forgot all its contents but had a copy of the Sermon, I
would deprive the same joy from it as I do from the Gita."

And Jesus, if he existed, took his philosophy from Buddhism. At least
Gandhi acknowledged others' influence. Plagiarists never do.
For the same reason, Buddhism remains superior to Paulism. A copy can
never be as good as the original. Besides, ever seen or heard of a
non-violent christian? A few Tibetans can produce a pacifist, but a
couple of billion of 'christians' cannot.
As for the mercenary missionaries, they are disturbed souls who feel
they will get into heaven by stealing souls from other faiths - by any
means necessary. How 'christ' -like. They are jihadis too, and it is
quite possible that the fanaticism of Islam was a reaction to the
fanaticism of christians that dominated and ravaged the middle east
before mohamed. The islamists are merely copying the behavior of the
fanatic christians, but with much cruder tactics.
And with far less money.
Both are evil because they both are the righteous ignorant to whom the
lives of others mean nothing unless they can control them. Or
eliminate them.

Christianity has borrowed and stolen theories and priciples from all
religions.

Now missionaries are trying to steal people from other religions.

Like businesss houses, they have targets to achieve for the funding
that they receive.

Yet another business.

The subject is NOT about what Gandhi's views were on the contents of Bible

It is about his views on missionaries & conversion.

the real test and meaning of xtianity became clear in how it behaved in its
early life: it sought, fought for, and gained politcal power. and then
killed millions.
that's the truth of that religion, rest is whitewash and posturing, all
designed to do more of the same.
xtianity lost out to asian religions the day it became politically correct
to behave with civility.
