Greetings;

I thought it was 1 Peter 3:15. We are to give an answer for the hope that
lies within us in a gentle and winsome way. I keep having to remind myself
that we are witnesses, not prosecutors. Our beliefs aren't based on
cleverly-devised fables but on eye-witness reports. Though we have faith,
it's based in the evidence provided through general and special revelation.

Sincerely,

Bruce Atchison - author of Deliverance from Jericho (Six Years in a Blind
School) and When a Man Loves a Rabbit ((Learning and Living With Bunnies).

Greetings;

It always astonishes me when those calling themselves Christians deny the
deity of Christ, doubt the infalibility of the Bible, and believe that all
religions are the same. In fact, some folks actually want to give more
creedence to the Gnostic pseudo-gospels than the genuine articles. If
people are serious about theology, they should be searching for the truth,
not trying to disprove it.

If anybody is searching for truth, I highly recommend the
www.whitehorseinn.org site. Also, the
http://www.rzim.org/USA/Resources/Listen/JustThinking.aspx and
http://www.ligonier.org/rym.php sites have plenty of edifying MP3 programs
to listen to. Additionally, the http://www.gty.org/Radio/Archive page has a
wealth of programming for those who are serious about Christianity and the
infalibility of God's Word. Having once been in a cult that denied the
essentials of Christianity, I am very cautious about so-called new
revelations. My hope is that Christians will take 1 Peter 3:15 seriously
instead of heading ear-tickling teachers of smooth lies.

Sincerely,
