In Craig Adams "over-reacted" post, he mentioned not being good at finding posts about the
"liberal" viewpoint so I thought I would take up the challenge. Here is a site with
articles about the christian viewpoint on gays that is quite opposed to most of what has
been posted here lately. Since the site says no duplication without permission, I can
only give you the link.

I'll try to see if I can post copies of articles or if they will do that for me.

I just read the article titled "In this connection, a conflict of covenants". It is a
very good article and comes closest to my opinion of the verdict. As Dr Brockwell puts it
"However, much as I may have wanted to vote for acquittal, I could not have done so for
any of the reasons I have read."

Thanks, Bob.

It is up to all of us to make this NG a worthwhile place to visit. I
encourage everyone to concentrate on posting on-topic material here. I also
think it would be nice if the ideas posted here were representative of the
broad range of opinion that exists in the UMC. Obviously, no one person
alone can do this.
