GOD=G_uv MIKE NEWDOW LOSES
MICHAEL NEWDOW is a high profile California Atheist
and is currently addressing the Supreme Court in
Washington claiming that the United States government
must take the words "under God" out of the
pledge of allegiance to the flag, and the words
"in God we trust" off the one dollar bill.
His argument is simple.. the Constitution forbids the
government from forcing anyone to "worship God".
Well, I have discouraging news for Michael Newdow.
Unbeknownst to him, someone has recently discovered
a scientific proof of God. Why does this make a difference.
The reasoning is simple. As long as "God" is a matter of
"faith" then pledging a belief in God is "worshipping", and
the Constitution prohibits the government from forcing anyone
to "worship". HOWEVER, since now someone has proved that
"God" is NOT a matter of "faith", but a matter of "scientific fact",
then the statement that we are "one nation under God" is
no longer a matter of "faith", and saying so is no longer
"worshipping"... it is simply recitation of a proven
scientific fact.
What galls me of course, being the scientist who has DISCOVERED
this scientific proof of God, is that I have to sit here and listen
to a bunch of atheists abuse the public, tie up the government,
attack the government, disrupt the country and terrorize
the god-fearing public... and all the while, my discovery would
boot him out of court in 5 minutes.
Who is responsible for this OUTRAGE against decency?
Fact is, YOU ARE... yes you the snobs of the physicis newsgroups
who have known about this discovery for several years, who have
heckled, ridiculed and ignored it. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE
for this outrage against common decency and the strength and
stability.. indeed the security, of the United States Government.
I strongly suggest you mend your ways and start giving HAMMOND
the fair shake he deserves, before foreign religious terrorists,
and even native atheists apparently, destroy the United States!
Hey... ask the U.S. Goverment to subpoena HAMMOND as
an expert witness in the case (which is being heard in the Supreme
Court as we speak). A scientific proof of God cuts this case off
at the knees!
Seriously, I am asking readers of this message to post a supportring
message to this post stating that HAMMOND should be called as
an "expert witness" in the Supreme Court, to testify that a
"scientific proof of God" has been found, so that therefore making
the statement that you believe in "one nation under God" is NOT
an act of "faith", but a recitation of a "proven scientific fact"-
and therefore is NOT AN ACT OF WORSHIP.
Therefore, Newdow's case should be thrown out of court for
insufficient evidence.
