As wicca != satanism the contradiction is painfully obvious.
I'll explain it again, for an obviously illiterate wicca demoniac.

Contrary to you I'm very able to read and write. Well, strictly
speaking you suffer from SELECTIVE illiteracy - can't read anything
that contradicts his beloved paranoid bigotry.

Quote:
and anyone but a demoniac wiccan would have NOT denied my words, but
would have asked me to clarify. I DID say ALL that in a previous post.

And we all know, not just since yesterday, that you tell lies whenever
you open your mouth. Hence, no need to clarify anything.

Quote:
Which really means "I can't prove that my babble is true, so I have to
turn to insults".
See my comment above, demoniac witch.

Thank you for proving my point again.

Quote:
Tough luck fundie boy. Doesn't work outside of your wonderful world of
chicken tracts.
If Jack Chic didn't bother you much, why do you witch demoniacs attack
him so viciously? Seems your weapons would be better aimed at serious
attacks, unless you DO consider him a serious threat.

Ts ts ts... he who invites mockery gets mockery. Should be simple
enough even for an anencephalos like you.

Quote:
The concept of the horned god is much older than the
christian defamation of his persona.
So you DO believe in "the horned god." (Satan)

Not that this is a non sequitur... ;)

Quote:
And that's the last insult I'll tolerate from you. I happen to be VERY
proud of my fundamentalist background. My scholars were the "Who's
Who" of 20th C theology.

fundyism != theology (fortunately)

Quote:
Okay fundie boy, present proof for xianity being the oldest religion.

No reply from you... now if that isn't a telltale sign of your defeat.
;)

Quote:
You ARE a Satan worshipper!
If it can be proven so easily, do so.

Again, admission (that I'm right) by omission.

I'll spare the reasonable readers the rest of the bullcrap... they know
what to think about it anyway ;)

TOP TEN SIGNS YOU'RE A (CHRISTIAN) FUNDAMENTALIST

10 - You vigorously deny the existence of thousands of
gods claimed by other religions, but feel outraged when
someone denies the existence of yours.

9 - You feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists
say that people evolved from other life forms, but you
have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were
created from dirt.

8 - You laugh at polytheists, but you have no problem
believing in a Triune God.

7 - Your face turns purple when you hear of the
"atrocities" attributed to Allah, but you don't even
flinch when hearing about how God/Jehovah slaughtered all
the babies of Egypt in "Exodus" and ordered the
elimination of entire ethnic groups in "Joshua" --
including women, children, and trees!

6 - You laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans, and
Greek claims about gods sleeping with women, but you have
no problem believing that the Holy Spirit impregnated
Mary, who then gave birth to a man-god who got killed,
came back to life and then ascended into the sky.

5 - You are willing to spend your life looking for little
loopholes in the scientifically established age of Earth
(4.55 billion years), but you find nothing wrong with
believing dates recorded by Bronze Age tribesmen sitting
in their tents and guessing that Earth is a couple of
generations old.

4 - You believe that the entire population of this planet
with the exception of those who share your beliefs --
though excluding those in all rival sects - will spend
Eternity in an infinite Hell of Suffering. And yet
consider your religion the most "tolerant" and "loving."

3 - While modern science, history, geology, biology, and
physics have failed to convince you otherwise, some idiot
rolling around on the floor speaking in "tongues" may be
all the evidence you need to "prove" Christianity.

2 - You define 0.01% as a "high success rate" when it
comes to answered prayers. You consider that to be
evidence that prayer works. And you think that the
remaining 99.99% FAILURE was simply the will of God.

1 - You actually know a lot less than many atheists and
agnostics do about the Bible, Christianity, and church
history - but still call yourself a Christian.

The SAFE, CAUTIOUS thing to do is to assume if it looks demonic to
believe it IS, and respond accordingly.

Perhaps exorcising the White House will affect the US election
result.

Heh heh. I remember back in the 60's a bunch of hippies tried to
exorcise the Pentagon. They got repelled and a sort of riot ensued
with many busted heads and some people carted off to jail.

Being a DC native, I seem to vaguely recall that event. I may have
been in the area if this was pre-1967.

Some time later, though, a bunch
of Quakers did exorcise it.

I do NOT recall that event.

That's because it was quiet, solemn and a REAL prayer vigil. Not
sensational enough for the 6 o'clock news.

Quote:
At any rate, REAL exorcisms can't hurt. It's the phony ones, such as
many that take place in the deep South (the "redneck Pentecostals, the

True. And what people don't often know is that exorcism is an integral
part of the traditional rites of the Church. A piece of ground or
building being prepared for a new church is routinely exorcised before
consecrating it. Even the water and salt used to make holy water are
exorcised before blessing them.

Quote:
IOW, if a person indeed is possessed, once the "exorcist" (one who
understands his /the Holy Spirit's power over Satan) arrives, the
demon(s) is/are not allowed to hurt the possessed person. And the Holy
Spirit and the Christian who is indwelt can safely remove the demon(s)
so that no one is hurt, including the possessed.

Individual possessions are rare, though not unknown. As I said earlier,
the really nasty ones inhabit whole nations, not individual souls. They
are far more subtle and can sometimes be focused THROUGH a possessed
individual (I believe that is what happened in Germany in the 1930's and
40's--it has all the stigmata), but the destruction of lives and of souls
can be far more widespread.

It is the false gods who do the worst damage. And there are two of them
who are more ubiquitous than the others:

There is Moloch, that old enemy sometimes characterized as a king (hence
the name) but who feeds on fear of the unknown. He demands the sacrifice
of children and even of adults and usually those of other nations or
tribes than the one he is infecting. And he can appear as an "angel of
light" when it suits him.

The other is Mammon...the spirit of greed who seems to be chronic with
mankind. He, too is subtle, and will happily induce people to preach
false doctrines purely for the money. In democratic nations, he seizes
the hearts of politicians causing them to pander to prejudice for the
contributions and votes that keep them in power. These were always
Satan's chief lieutenants and nothing has changed in that respect since
Jesus was crucified.

But what stops them cold in their tracks is following Jesus' teachings
and passing on the good news that He is risen! Not fighting imaginary
crusades against those whose politics differ from your own (the day they
make differing politics illegal in America is the day the nation dies);
not fighting crusades against science imagined to be incorrect; not
putting down anyone really, but rather raising up Christ.

And if you want my honest opinion about the "end times," I honestly don't
believe He's coming back until at least a good number of disciples exist
in churches that won't just try to crucify Him all over again, simply for
being Himself. I was raised in a very fundamentalist environment myself
and the return of Christ was used in that organization as a kind of
bogeyman to scare children and naive believers into line. Later, as I
came back to the faith from the corner of the world where these people
had driven me, it occurred to me that they really had it wrong. If they
love Jesus so much, why is His return treated as a dreadful event.
Personally, I shall be GLAD to see Him whenever He turns up!

OK, so tell us about your complex gods then.

UNWRITTEN RULES OF (PSEUDO-CHRISTIAN) FUNDAMENTALISM

1. "I'm right and you are wrong".
2. Never admit that you are wrong, even if you really are.
3. When you have nothing to say, hurl insults.
4. Regard and portray your own violence, whether physical, psychological,
or verbal, at all times as defensive
4a. Specific example for 4.: Cry for "freedom of religion", but whenever followers of other faiths want the same freedom and courts agree, scream "Persecution!"
5. Be prepared at all times to lie and bluster, particularly when backed
into a corner in an argument
5a. When caught lying, always accuse the opposition of lying rather than be honest and admit the obvious
6. Never accept responsibility for any mess you have personally caused.
7. When you are forced to admit to an error, regard the whole process of
error and correction as part of God's personal plan for you and not as a
something for which you should apologise retract or make amends except
verbally and secretly to God himself
8. Always see yourself and you personal actions as part of God's plans for
the world. Recognise that even your errors are just part of Gods will for
the betterment of mankind.
9.Profess humility but avoid the actual experience of it.
10.Refuse to take in information that differs from your own view and
oppose all such information through classification of such information in
a derogatory and simplistic manner(eg by categorising it as left wing
propaganda)
11.Refuse to accept that truth is not black and white; that reality is
complex and there are shades of grey
12.Refuse to forgive anyone else for anything unless you purport to
forgive on behalf of other people unconnected with you for whom you don't
have that right anyhow.

True. And what people don't often know is that exorcism is an

Who doesn't know? Deliverance (I mean the REAL thing, not the
game-playing) is also a vital part of churches *I* have attended,
from the Southern Baptist, to the Baptist, to the non-denominationa.
Wherever his minions show up, there will be the spiritually mature
(all it takes) to cast them out.

A piece of ground or
building being prepared for a new church is routinely exorcised
before consecrating it.

The churches I have attended would simply "bless" the ground, rather
than exorcise it. The belief (which I share) is that Satan/demons
can only occupy living things.

The belief that you share is incorrect.

Nah! You are !! And your increasingly know-all attitude as I read
down the page makes me think we're done for awhile. The respect this
started with has deteriorated into me being demonic because I'm not
Roman Catholic.

Nope...I could care less what denomination you call home. *I* am not
Roman Catholic, so why should THAT bother me. It's more because I see
you pointing the finger at everything you don't like and saying "demon!
demon!" Usually, when that happens, the person doing it is either
disturbed or is trying to point attention away from himself for some
reason (usually not a good one).

Quote:
Give me a break!

I'm trying to, but you keep making it harder and harder to accept your

LOL!!!

Demons laugh a lot. It's their way of keeping up a good front because,
unlike most of their victims, they KNOW where they're gonna end up.

In any case, whatever is "inspiring" you is clearly not up to handling
even gentle criticism. As for your claim that demons cannot inhabit a
place, that's just false.
