Dear Fellow TNXers,
We had a nice time today down by the sea across from the Sandcastle
[Coachman Park] at an arts festival. Lots of artists were there and
crafts people too, so we even ended up buying a painting by a local
artist named Gary Clark who paints with sea gull feathers as his only
brushes! It was fun talking with he and several of the others.... It was
just a beautiful sunny 75F. day, we shot some photos too.... just wanted
to say HI and let you know we were thinking of you....

Dear friends,
It's been 10 days since I've been back from the Ship, and I continue to
be amazed at the velocity with which things are changing in certain
areas of my life.
These are areas in which I was making progress, but it was not all VGIs.
They were areas I needed to improve faster. Before I went to the Ship,
I thought I knew why, but still they didn't take off.
Well all that's changed. What I learned on the Route to Infinity Course
is like a giant laser cannon for blasting holes in the largest
barriers. And it's a piece of tech anyone can master.
In the win I posted before I realized I left something out. And that is
a viewpoint on going to the Ship.
Many people have e-mailed me back that after reading my story, they now
want to go to the Ship, or now want to go to the Ship soon. Well, I
want you all to go the Ship NOW. 
A few months ago, my viewpoint on the Ship was that, this is something
that would be nice to do; I viewed it as a luxury.
After starting to go to OT Hatting Nights here at Flag, I decided it
would be a REALLY good idea to go as soon as possible; then I decided to
go there as my next service; and when the WISE convention came up, I
decided to go for that.
By the way, I didn't have the wherewithal to go. I just decided.
Anyway, the truth is, I still didn't get it. I mean, it was great that
I decided to go, and that I did go.
But the truth is, going to the Ship is not something that is nice to do.
It is not something that would be very good to do. It is a necessity.
That is the viewpoint we should all have, because it is the truth. To
be a full OT, we are all going to have to do all the OT Hatting Courses.
That means making regular trips to the Ship to do courses.
You can start now, or you can start later. But the truth is, you'll
make it sooner and faster if you start now.
I'm going back Memorial Day weekend to do my next course. Anyone else
wanna play this game?

Dear TNXer's,
For the last 6 years I have been the volunteer Literacy I/C at an
LAPD youth organization called Jeopardy in the San Fernando Valley
(Pacoima). I do this under my non-profit called Community Literacy &
Integrity Council (CLIC). The part of CLIC that deliver tutoring is
now a Hollywood Education & Literacy Project - H.E.L.P.
Helping these kids establish their goals in life is included in
the tutoring. Then the kids are matched up for 2 to 4 hours with
professionals or business people who have achieved their own chosen
goals. These kids are very excited about this and each one wants to
do it immediately. It really brings them uptone.
Do you have any comm lines in the LA area the would make these
matches a reality for these kids? I currently need comm lines as
follows:
graphic artist physiotherapist fireman paramedic
auto repair electronic repair aircraft mechanic
writer/journalist aircraft pilot model architect

If any of you have ever had a desire to travel the world and open up new
areas to Scientology, I have been doing that.
I have a write up about opening up Medellin, Columbia last year and just
how easy and fun it was!
