" They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they
would have remained with us; but they went out, so that it would be shown that they all
are not of us. " 1 Jn. 2:19 NASB
*************************************************************************************************************
the sons of Adam find the sons of God an abomination just as the sons of God find the sons
of Adam an abomination. ( Pv. 29:27 ) the elect are given life and are indwelt by His
Spirit, and diligently present the gospel of the Bible giving all of the glory for the
doing to God alone.
on the other hand, the co-redeemer's trust in a gospel in which man gets the glory for the
doing by some act of positive volition without which, in their mind anyway, no one can be
saved. such idea's as " inviting Jesus into one's heart; accepting Jesus as one's Lord
and Savior; making a decision for Christ; some patented denominational sinner's prayer
and denominational ceremonies " all have to do with appeasing God so as to invoke Him to
save.
no such thing can possibly save because those in Adam are spiritually dead and wanting
rather to do the desires of their father the devil. ( Eph. 2:1-3; Jn. 8:43,44 ) their
first mistake is to suppose that the dead speak the things of the Spirit. beyond that,
they think a gospel of co-redemption offered to God propitiates sins.
God reveals that there is but one manner in which He saves and that is "... by His doing
you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and
sanctification, and redemption, so that, just as it is written, " He who glories, let him
glory in the Lord." 1 Cor.1: 30,31.
salvation is " by His doing " and not by some fancy idea that only the smart can be saved,
which is demonstrated by the espouser's of the co-redemption gospel's. they insist
salvation is by man ' making a decision for Christ ' all the while he is spiritually dead,
without the life of God as he leaves out aborted fetuses, babies dying at birth, the
mentally impaired, toddler's and the like. under these circumstances only the smart can
be saved.
the co-redeemer's also include the idea that Christ made atonement for everyone without
exception... though everyone is not saved unless he makes a decision for Christ. well,
if unbelief is a sin then Christ paid for that sin, too... those not making a decision for
Christ because of their unbelief have their sins paid for as well... really, its their
good work of surrender which the co-redeemer's want to be recognized for.
the co-redeemer's only out is to say man foils God time and time again since no one of the
sons of Adam desire salvation... the millions who perished in the Flood testify to that...
Christ failed at Calvary to secure salvation for everyone rejecting Him, though they say
He died for everyone. that means God is not omnipotant.
such is why the co-redeemer's have no fellowship with the elect all the while they suppose
they have fellowship with God. the elect present the gospel of the Bible which gives all
of the glory for the doing to God while the co-redeemer's get some of His glory for
themselves, boasting of how they masterfully chose Christ all the while being dead in sin
not seeking after God as we read in Ro. 3:10-28
He is found of those who did not ask for Him nor seek Him ( Ro. 10:20 ) so that all of the
glory goes to God who made the atonement for those whose names He's written in the Lamb's
Book of Life. |
