The Disease among the Days...
This dark descending in the depths of Africa
As the mothers and the children scream
Watching as their fathers die before them
Knowing there are horrors left just for them.
Tribe against tribe and man against man
The battle of the book and the bringers
Waged upon the land of many mysteries
She tears apart as pages fall upon the fires
This death that follows no laws or logic
Madness is left to rot upon the mass graves
While we debate the meaning of genocide
And Africa cries the tears of an old woman... |
