China has a lot more work to do than we do. Although, I think that
it will take more than $3.4B to do the job right.

Agreed, on both points.

A few years ago when we had that big power outage we were without
power for a bit over two weeks most of the people I heard complaining
for the first few days were complaining about not having their
internet access. By the time it was over with they were worried about
more mundane things, like fuel, and their dimminished food stores.
It was actually sort of humbling. Very Happy
