It is o.k. to rant at people you disagree with. But don't feel guilty
or bad about doing it.
Just know that you can not convince an alcoholic to change their
behavior.
You can't convince someone with a chemical imbalance to change their
behavior.
When you rant at people such as this, you're doing it for your own
enjoyment and to express to others who don't have addictions or mental
problems what your world view is.
But once you've said everything you want to say, stop. Ranting at
people such as this is like shouting at homeless people in the street
who are trying to bother you. It is illogical as they will just try to
bother you more. The best course of action is to walk away and ignore
them just as everyone else does.
Don't feel guilty about that either. You can't help them. They don't
want to be helped and they don't have the capacity to be helped. The
way to help them is to ignore them so they don't get arrested messing
with you after you have aggravated their conditions.
It is the best thing you can do for them. |
