When Christ brought Israel out of Egypt,
it was a foreshadow of today.
As difficult as it was to get Pharaoh
to release the slaves,
today is much more difficult.
The dark ruler of this world has
a doctrinal hold on the people
by the popular false "gospel"
of "salvation" by surrender,
that is keeping them in his slavery.
Only Christ can remove the barrier that
is keeping people from seeing the light
of the real gospel, so they do not perish.
This is the gospel of Scripture and
of the Reformation, that has almost
been driven from the face of the earth:
The moment Christ gives us faith to stop trusting our
"righteousness" and start trusting him to be our Righteous
Substitute so he regards his righteousness and victory ours,
we have eternal life.
